Robert Bateman Museum

The Gallery of Nature hosts the largest collection of original and rare works by world-renowned artist and naturalist, Robert Bateman, along with a rotation of nature-inspired exhibits and a full schedule of educational and public programs.

Overlooking Victoria’s dynamic Inner Harbour, this interactive art gallery showcases the magic and beauty of nature through exciting exhibitions, kids’ activities and guided tours, along with immersive installations, including a Birdsong Gallery and multi-media video. The Bateman Foundation was founded to inspire a lasting relationship with nature through the lens of art, and is currently one of the only non-profits in Canada primarily using artwork to promote a connection to nature and the environment. Through our programs, exhibits, community collaborations, gallery, and retail operations, we inspire a generation of people to have a deep relationship with nature.
