Fairmont Empress serves Afternoon Tea in the grandeur and elegance of the famous Lobby Lounge, filled with live classical piano accompaniment. The menus is resplendent with fresh, locally sourced ingredients: strawberry jam for the freshly baked, flaky scones is made in-house from local berries, honey from the hotel’s apiary and lavender from their rooftop garden. The dedicated culinary team creates decadent pastries that celebrate the history and character of the hotel and a delicious assortment of finger sandwiches is presented with a flourish on a tiered royal china tea service.
