PROTOCOLS TO KEEP YOU SAFE

WELCOMING, SAFEGUARDING AND TAKING CARE OF OTHERS IS AT THE VERY HEART OF WHAT WE DO AND WHO WE ARE

Effective September 13, 2021, British Columbia’s Provincial Health Officer has made proof of vaccination mandatory to enter certain businesses in the province. Proof of vaccination will be required to visit Q At The Empress, Q Bar, Lobby Lounge, The Veranda, Fairmont Gold Lounge and to attend any meetings or events with 50 or more attendees. Please read our COVID-19 Travel FAQs Prior to traveling, we recommend reviewing information provided on the BC Government website. Please note all guests, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a face mask in all our indoor public spaces, as per the BC Government’s PHO starting August 25, 2021.

We are thrilled to welcome back our community, friends and family to Canada’s Castle on the Coast and continue to deliver impeccable service, delectable culinary experiences, and the attention to detail our guests have come to know, trust and expect of Fairmont Empress. Our top priority remains the safety, care and wellbeing of our guests and colleagues. As we navigate through this unprecedented moment in our history, we remain deeply committed to the wellbeing of our Fairmont Empress family.
