Fairmont Empress Brings Back Afternoon Tea Leaf Readings for Halloween Season

Fairmont Empress is launching an immersive and mystical Afternoon Tea experience this Halloween season. On Friday, October 31st, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., a tea leaf reader will be present to share the art of tasseography with tea-goers.

Guests will enjoy the hotel’s iconic Afternoon Tea service, complete with an array of delicate sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and an assortment of sweet treats, with the option to enjoy the thrill of peering into their future. Tea leaf reading, or tasseography, is a centuries-old tradition often associated with fortune-telling and mystical insights, making it an alluring and engaging experience for the Halloween season.

For this special event, the complimentary teacup readings will introduce the art of tea leaf reading, offering guests a unique glimpse into what their future may hold.
